The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the Controller by carrying out various duties of the Accounting Department. Due to sensitivity of the information being processed and the confidentiality of the information processed, a trusted and uncompromising individual is required. Individual must also be able to work with all personnel within the company.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monthly Financial Reporting & Analysis
Create & record journal entries on a monthly basis
Reconcile g/l accounts (accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payables, various accruals) on a monthly basis
Perform monthly or ad-hoc financial analyses as requested by controller or CFO.
Price options, specials, various service order requests and employee purchases
Create and publish annual price lists
Maintain standard costs within the accounting system
Run monthly BOM reports to be used in determining base for model year pricing
Setup new parts for Miscellaneous JOBS
Assist in gathering information and preparing schedules for audits
Perform various job duties as assigned by the Controller
Maintain a positive attitude in working with people from other departments
Back up for payroll processing
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Prior experience with MacPac is helpful, but not necessary
CPA or work in public accounting preferred
4-5 years of experience in accounting related field required
