Pulaski, Wisc (December 15, 2015) – Marquis & Carver Yachts welcomed Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker on Thursday, December 10th at 10:00 am CDT to its facility. Governor Walker’s visit included a plant tour and an employee meeting.

GOVERNOR SCOTT WALKER TOURS MARQUIS AND CARVER YACHTS IN PULASKI
Pulaski – Marquis & Governor Scott Walker joined executives and employees today at Marquis and Carver Yachts in Pulaski for a tour of their facilities and a meeting with employees. Marquis Yachts, LLC is an independent and privately-owned company specializing in 34- to 72-foot boats under the brand names of Marquis and Carver Yachts.
“Across the state, more people are working and our economy is stronger than it was when we took office,” Governor Walker said. “The state’s unemployment rate is down to 4.3 percent, and the unemployment rate here in Brown County is even lower at 3.2 percent. Companies like Marquis and Carver Yachts have seen significant growth in the past few years, and we remain dedicated to growing our economy so businesses across our state can continue to expand and move forward.”
Marquis and Carver Yachts has significantly impacted the Pulaski area, investing approximately $110 million since 2011. From April 2014 to March 2015, their production grew and unit sales increased by 283 percent. Since March of this year, Marquis and Carver Yachts has hired 80 employees at their facility in Pulaski to help meet their growing demands.
