Carver & Marquis Family
Pulaski, Wisc (November 11, 2014) – Last week’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show proved to be very successful for Marquis and Carver Yachts.
“Our show sales are up double digits compared to last year,” said Rob Parmentier, president and CEO. “We have hundreds of leads, and we’re certain to close on a handful of hot prospects from the show in the coming days.”
Marquis and Carver dealers from around the world converged on the Fort Lauderdale show with one common goal: to sell boats. Parmentier advised that their sheer numbers indicated a positive, growing trend for the Pulaski, Wisconsin-based boatbuilder.
“The number of dealers we had in our display, and the number of prospects we spoke with, tells me that our strategy is working,” he explained.
Greg Terraglio, president and owner of Sovereign Marine Group in Stuart, Florida, agreed.
“The number of people we spoke to during the show was phenomenal,” Terraglio said. “We have a lot of follow-up to do, but we feel the show will be a real winner for us in the coming weeks.”
“Selling 46 boats in 90 days, and having such a successful Fort Lauderdale show this year, demonstrates that both boaters and dealers are seriously taking note of the Marquis and Carver Yachts brands as viable options – and as major players in their respective market segments,” Parmentier concluded.
